Deathbed Hellcat

Updated November 1, 2026

SYSTEM NOTE: DEATHBED HELLCAT

Patient, invisible, and devastating from very far away. You are the last thing your enemies never see. The System has received several complaints about unfair angles and filed them under “skill issue.”

Parent class: Sorcerer
Feature levels: 3, 6, 14, 18

Features

Level 3 — Patient Sniper

Gain Stealth proficiency. Once on your turn when casting a spell that makes a ranged spell attack and has a range of at least 30 feet, double its range for that casting, to a maximum of 300 feet. This does not enlarge an area.

Level 3 — Vanishing Act

Invisibility is always prepared. Cast it once without a slot per Long Rest.

Level 6 — Precision Casting

Once on your turn when you hit with a ranged spell attack, add your Charisma modifier, minimum 1, to its damage.

Level 14 — Fade After Firing

After casting a spell, spend 2 Sorcery Points as a Bonus Action to become Invisible until the start of your next turn. It ends early if you attack, deal damage, or cast another spell.

Level 18 — Deathbed Shot

When your ranged spell attack hits, spend 3 Sorcery Points to deal an extra 4d8 Psychic damage. Once per turn.

Notes

No automatic kills or unlimited invisibility apply.
