SYSTEM NOTE: FORSAKEN AERIALIST
You fell once, badly, and something caught you on the way down. Now you curse your enemies, weigh them down, and drift above the consequences. The audience loves a tragic backstory, especially one that can fly.
Parent class: Warlock
Feature levels: 3, 6, 10, 14
Features
Level 3 — Forsaken Magic
Bane and Feather Fall are always prepared.
Level 3 — Weight of Failure
Once on your turn, when a creature fails a saving throw against your Warlock spell, reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn.
Level 6 — Unsteady Ground
When a creature you can see within 60 feet succeeds on a saving throw against your Warlock spell, use your Reaction to subtract 1d4, potentially changing the result. PB uses.
Level 10 — Untethered
As a Bonus Action, gain Fly Speed 30 feet for 1 minute. Once per Long Rest. You fall if the effect ends without support.
Level 14 — Profane Burden
When Weight of Failure applies, its target also cannot take Reactions until the start of your next turn and takes 2d8 Psychic damage. PB uses.
Notes
This is a curse-and-positioning interpretation, not a claim that the source supplies a complete class progression.
