What Happened

The party discovered that Princess Sable had disappeared from the ship while it was docked in the riverside village of Silverbend. Everyone investigated and discovered footprints in the riverbanks that suggested she may have been taken across the river, into the woods. As the party went to retrieve her, they encountered Grindylows which were dispatched quickly. Following footprints into the woods Princess Sable was finally found with a Grindylow Chieftan named Mistcurl. The party battled with him, and rescued the reluctant princess. The party learned that a former monarch of Germonia made a deal with Dagon, the Prince of the Darkened Deep, and then reneged on their promise. Dagon may be trying to collect, and Sable may be the price. The party also learned that Queen Snow White may be planning on using Sable to renegotiate terms with Dagon.



The party left Silverbend only to find the crew of the ship acting strangely. They discovered that Sy's stewpot was cursed and so was the ship. Captain Windreaver told everyone that they would need to find a wizard to remove the curse. She knows of one not far up the river in the village of Sen.
