Session 6: Goosefeather Fiascos

Goosefeather is an agricultural town that smells of hay and ambition. It hosts a significant annual Threshing Day festival — a harvest celebration that involves competitions, a parade, and the ceremonial First Cut of the grain. The town is proud, a little clannish about outsiders, and fiercely protective of its guild rankings.

The Missing Boy

A local boy named Jackie Paper has been missing for two days. His mother is frantic. The townspeople suspect the boy has gone looking for Puff the Magic Dragon, a creature rumored to live in the hills east of town.

Ominis the Wizard

A young wizard named Ominis has been conducting experiments on Puff and killed Jackie Paper!

After the fight, the party discovers Ominis is a great-grandson of Jadis — the White Witch of Narnia. He is not aligned with her politically but this information is now out. The White Witch will hear about his death.

Threshing Day Disaster

The Threshing Day festival goes badly. How badly is up to the party. The town expels the party and bars them from the Adventurers Guild. This is embarrassing and inconvenient rather than catastrophic
